Dr. Rick's most recent post is helpful and I'm not being sarcastic.

Sure, we don't have to see absolute proof that we have a cold. No one demands proof of having a cold.

And I'm not asking that every HIV -ve, or untested healthy person be tested to provide non-evidence. Just that positively tested people be proven to be positively worthy of special treatment or concern.

C'mon Rick, don't pick with my choice to use the term dubialist. And I use the adjective "sensible" to mean that I don't include those that promote the idea that HIV exists and is a weapon.

I am familiar with the thinking of medical students and doctors. I work and have lunch with doctors. I am mistaken for a doctor. I play golf with doctors, have doctors for neighbours and get drunk with doctors quite often. Doctors tell me things thinking that I am a doctor.

Oh wow, how this made me laugh. Thanks RoddyM for providing me with endless amusement.

So - because you play golf with doctors, you feel qualified to A) know how each and every doctor thinks and B) interpret the results of medical science? Damn, why am I wasting 200 grand on medical school, when I could just hang out at the golf course, to learn how to diagnose and treat illnesses!

Need I point out that the evidence and research provided above did not all come from doctors (and none from medical students) but from scientists. But perhaps you get drunk with a PhD now and then, so I'm sure you are qualified to analyze their theses.

"Are you a doctor?"
"No, but I did stay at a holiday inn last night."
