Good job, Buffman! Would like to hear the results.
Admiral, the court case which found that mandatory chapel attendance at service academies violates the First Amendment is Anderson v. Laird(1972). The decision was rendered by the U.S. Court of Appeals D.C. Circuit. |

Gravitybow;
Thanks again. That's useful information. I might work it into my next tirade to the editor. The Admiral |

Anderson v. Laird appears to be too old to be on Findlaw's database, but while looking for it I found this article you might be interested in concerning religious freedom in the military (I haven't had the time to read all of it, but it appears to be well documented):
<a href="https://www.patrick.af.mil/deomi/Observances%20&%20Demographics/Additional%20Resources/Religious%20Resources/acco95.htm" target="_blank">Religious Accommodation 1995 </a> by Chaplain (Captain) Carlos C. Huerta of the United States Army. |

Thanks, I am printing that out for easier reading. I'll read it all a little later. The Admiral |

By the way, I noticed on the alumni board recently that they were going to use state funding to renovate the chapel, which had originally been built with donations. Strel |
