so I opened a thread in the suggestion forum and my thread was seen as arguing publicly so it got deleted...
Gawd. *smack to forehead smiley*

same thing happened to Marcel and a few others months ago in Apologetics so then he opened a thread suggesting that people could be given reasons if 5 pages of posts are deleted! and his thread was deleted in the suggestion forum as well... So once his thread was deleted I opened a thread called "wheres Marcel's thread?" and that was deleted and I was warned which was probably appropriate. I was really skating on thin ice over there at the time. I just think its better if people can voice their concerns without everything warranting a deletion...
I think that deletions are unnecessary and unhelpful. At the most a mod should just close a thread with a public explanation of the reason for doing so. Deletions smack of underhanded behaviour, and they don't allow others to recognise what sort of posting is being frowned upon.

yeah I stay clear of Gunny...I actually tried to put several people over there on my ignore list a while ago and it would not let me. I got the "This person can not be added to your ignore list because they are a moderator or administrator"
The only people i really ever had the desire to be on my ignore lists there were a few mods, no members...
I guess you learn to develop an internal ignore list.

AtheistArchon was banned a few months ago.

And yes, Brim dear...I am resurrecting Jezebel. Who was her ex-husband again?

Months ago they banned every non-Christian. I tried to join and I was turned down because I was a Catholic.
It seems they only wanted "born again" Christians.

Yep. They didn't want the drones exposed to other philosphies or points of view. It may upset their equilibrium.

I'm still a member, but I don't post. I have no wish to.

speaking of ignore lists...I just kind of started skipping over Susan's posts but thats ok I am pretty sure she skips mine as well so its a rather nice arrangement.
The board itself is just so difficult to navigate. theres always something new which I guess can be a good thing but getting around there isn't so easy at times...
I was looking for a thread the other day and could not for the life of me recall which forum
and the search didn't help much. Ultimately I was not all that interested so after about 10 minutes I kind of just gave up on looking for that thread...

Susan? Do you mean she isn't a webbot?
