Post Theists, what is paradise?

The subject title says it all really. Define what paradise is for me.

Christianity is big on the concepts of heaven and hell. Hell has been fairly well defined by various denomintions, but as far as I am aware, heaven, aka paradise is not.

Paradise is regained when our faculty of reason is placed subservient to intuition.

For this to be achieved our persona must be crucified while its attributes (our personal apostels) must be recalled into the upper room so that sanity will prevail. The upper room is our subconscious mind to which we ascend and are entertained there by the richess we gathered with our persona while on earth.

Amos, sometimes the things you say are just too complicated and obscure for my tiny little mind to grasp!

Hi amos, so here we meet again.
I was hoping to see your response in the comments thread of the gay/lesbian bigotry debate. Won't you respond to my comments about ever-changing church ethics and your baseless extrapolations from the 80%-20% division of the subconscious-conscious?

Let me guess: this nebulous "definition" of heaven too is based on your favorite Platonic doctrine of Recollection? Your mention of subconscious and gathering of the riches therein rings a bell. So is this another of your speculative "philosophical propositions" (as you call them)?

Well I saw that and wondered why you had brought in all of the changing Church ethics etc.

My 80-20 division is apporoximate but true just the same.

As for changing ethics? When you are in charge of your own destiny and you get to call the shots why not make the game a challenge for its contestants. Your end up with more and better people in heaven that way because remember that sensorship is the key to success.

Yes, and they're called "the Birds of Paradise" (or did you think they were chickens?).

It's not that difficult to grasp and they are obcure only because your clever mind is obscured with perverted religious doctrine.

It is all from the bible and have your ever wondered why the apostels needed to forsake Jesus just prior to crucifixion and were later recalled into the upper room?

Did you think that the upper room was a loft? Or that they "in them days" (as they say today) had rooms on the roofs of their houses and they were called "upper rooms?"

I'd say let's keep it real and if people don't understand the bible put the thing away.

Based upon Amos' responsed, I'd have to conclude that paradise is an acid trip.

I really don't know what an acid trip is like but this is a philosophy board and I think that the metaphysics of religion should be part of it.
