Sound of the trumpet:

Like others have said, THIS ISNT A FUCKING STREET CORNER. YOU ARE IN A DISCUSSION FORUM, YOU NEED TO DEAL WITH THE QUESTIONS THAT OTHERS ASK, AND WHEN YOU DO, DEAL WITH ALL OF THEM, DON'T SKIP OVER THE ONES YOU CANT ANSWER.

For example, prove there are no leprechauns. You can't, so why don't you beleive in them?

Love? Love is from an emotion called empathy, which is a product of an upbringing or other effect on a person. Humans are social animals instinctively (they have evolved as such), and do best when in social environments. They develop attachments to certain things for various reasons. This is love.

Conception? WTF kind of crackpot arguement is that? That proves nothing, it is not evidence of a God existing. For example...can you think of something that exists yet has no effect on anything? How would it exist? It doesnt, its not made up of properties of other things like your pink elephant analogy.

jesus christ, i fucking quit.

you refuse to use paragraphs, you use bullshit arguements that no self respecting christian would even use, you dont respond to other peoples questions unless its convenient for you, and often when you do you just question the relevance of the question rather than answering it, you make a new ID to support your ideas, i mean christ even that other christian says you are an idiot. instead of discussing something with anyone, you keep copy/pasting some article you may or may not have written that is riddled with strawman and logical fallacies.

next time, instead of coming to this board, read something and educate yourself {suspect invective removed}

I have edited this post because it breaches the Forum Rules and Policies. Please take all objections about this moderating decision to Bugs, Problems and Complaints.

You've got me there! I must admit it did seem quite inevitable, the only questions were, when and by whom?

Trumpet:

You'd be doing yourself a big favor to READ these fora for awhile before you jump right in.

Every argument you've mentioned has been discussed exhaustively here -- introduced by much more articulate people than you, and quickly torn apart.

You're embarrassing yourself.

Second, these arguments are very simple, even a child could understand some of them. If you cannnot answer a simple argument, then how pray-tell can you answer complex ones?
Yes, they ARE very simple arguments. And the ANSWERS are very simple too. I will try to make them as brief as possible. If you wish to know WHY the brief, simple answers I provide are sufficient, then you'll have to start paying attention to more detailed explanations.
Quote:
(A) The Evidence of Cause & Effect: There is a law called "Cause & Effect". This is a law because it has been observed millions of times. It is also used in just about every area we can think of, from science, history, law enforcement, School, etc. Common sense demands a cause for every effect. Basically, the law of Cause & Effect states that for every effect there is a cause, which caused it, and that every effect of a cause cannot be greater tan what caused it...
Simple answer: Baloney. Some events are uncaused, and there is no natural law or principle which says that an effect must be "greater" than its cause.
Quote:
(B) The Evidence of Design: Any design requires and even demands a designer. For, example, seeing art work we would assume that their was an artist, seeing a watch we would assume that their was a watchmaker, seeing a building we would assume that their was a builder etc. To imply or even out right iterate that something could, over time on its own, produce design is a bit far-fetched to reasonably receive.
Simple answer: Evolution.
Quote:
(C) The Evidence of Conception: This is a simple piece of evidence, also known as the "Ontological Argument", basically states that because a perfect being can be conceived then that perfect being must exist.
Simple answer: Baloney. If I imagine Martians to be the greenest aliens that can possibly exist, therefore Martians MUST exist?
Quote:
(D) The Evidence of LOVE: Where did love come from? If evolution were true, then love could not come from it, for life by evolutionary standards is nail, tooth, and claw, survival of the fittest.
Simple answer: Evolution. You obviously don't know much about it.

Second, these arguments are very simple, even a child could understand some of them. If you cannnot answer a simple argument, then how pray-tell can you answer complex ones? Foe example: if you can not give the answer to "1+1" then how could you ever give the answer to E=MC2 ? The fact is, is that simplicity is a problem with those who are closed minded to basic thinking.
Since when is E=MC2 a question?!

"How do we know God exist?"

I would just like to know this:

How do we know?

This thread is like Giovanni Ribisi going for an Oscar by portraying yet another mentally deficient individual.
