Default Hezekiah="Mighty God"?

Last week I noted that the the name Zekidiah really means "The Lord is Our Righteousness"---a messianic title(Jeremiah unfortunately goofed in his coronation "prophecy"-for Zedekiah was the last king of Judah).
Now, I'm wondering--among those who know Hebrew here--does Hezekiah translate into "Mighty God"? The Zedekiah link I found through a bible dictionary, but unfortunately the entry for Hezekiah yielded no Hebrew meaning of the name. If it does mean "Mighty God", than therefore the use of the prophecy to apply to Jesus is in error--since Apologists who apparentally have no understanding of how some Hebrew names worked often state that "This passage means the child is God!"

The meaning of Zedek comes from the spiritual attribut of Jupiter, that akkadian astrologers have seen in the Planet. Jupiter is until now still related to righteousness and the well known name of »Melchisedek« (Melech Tsedek) is another name for Jupiter as the "King of righteousness". Zedekiah is the connection Tsedek and YHWH and contains the Planet Jupiter as the "God of Righteousness". Since the Jews have hidden their roots which where related to astrology (The names of the twelve sons of Jacob have all meanings which are related to the astrological meaning of the planets), only a few have knowledge about that roots. There are no gods. There are only the principles of the human character, which can simple be related to planets. Look in the OT what they have done with figures of Astarte (Venus) from what the word star got its name.

Zedikiah means "My righteousness is Yahweh"

Hezekiah means "My strength is Yahweh"

Each of these has the possesive suffix ("i") meaning "my".

Could you elaborate on the prophecy?

The prophecy is in Isiah 10, I believe. Basically Isiah(sp?) is explaining the birth of an important person, and reads off a set of names.

Hmm. "My strength as Yahweh" could possibly be interpetated as "Mighty is Yahweh".

Anybody have the original Hebrew text of Isiah 10?

Perhaps as "Strength of God"... However, the word "strength" has the possesive suffix ("i") meaning "my".

Isaiah is the correct spelling, since you asked.

Technically speaking, no one has the "original text". I do have the BHS, which is (more or less) the official Hebrew text that underlies most modern translations.
