Petreley has opened some new morality forums, unfortunately his egregious insults have disturbed his tolerant co-poster, gbledsoe. The level of vitriol is really unreal:
_______ What a sap! If you've got a day job, I suggest you spend more time doing it and less time on these boards, because I think the task of reading comprehension is taxing your abilities a bit too much. _______ That's quite fascinating, isn't it? Given YOUR system of beliefs, that would be called insanity. You know something isn't there, but you live your life as if it is. ______ Mr. Petreley's thinking on ethics is every bit as informed and level-headed as his writing on Creation and Evolution. I do not know why he even opened the forum. I predict he will succeed in alienating his allies very soon. Vorkosigan |

The latest is that he's snarling that he'll kick off some of the pro-evolution posters because they have supposedly been rude unwanted guests.

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised by the double-think he shows, but I am. If the arguments were so patently false, why does he feel the need to ignore arguments, insult, and finally kick evolutionists off his board? And will he ever realize how poorly creationism is supported if he has to resort to these tactics? |

Microsoft knows that using its monopoly power to suppress alternative operating systems is much easier and cheaper that improving the stability and security of Windows. Similarly, Nick knows that using his "monopoly" power at www.petreley.org to suppress pro-evolution arguments is far easier than actually coming up with rational arguments in support of "creation science". Wonder how long it would take Nick to boot me off??? (Probably about as long as it would take Microsoft to pull Gateway's OEM license for selling dual-boot boxes...) If you don't mind I will make that comparison over there. I don't want to steal your idea so let me know if it is ok!

I made some more posts this morning and haven't been booted yet. Maybe it was all bluster.
FWIW, whoever was posting under the handle "smijer" is now listed as "Anonymous coward". |

You gotta love 'em... Shame, Nick & Bledsoe were the two bad apples. The rest were all wrong of course, but those two were off their rockers. Oh well. Without some of us to fuel their debates, they won't be attracting a lot of visitors. Somebody post them a link to here. |

How come, every creationist board I know of eventually resorts to such tactics. Evolutionists don't have to do it.
I guess the "truth" only is, when you hide it from the "lies." ++RvFvS++ |
