they were born that way.
seems that some people are just pre disposed/hard wired by nature to believe in supernatural,gods,and afterlife, so they don't have to fear death,and therefore can handle their daily lifes hardships easier,and nothing you can say will change that,at least thats what this book says; see here www.godpart.com |

Is this the same stuff as what's in "Why God Won't Go Away"? That book was interesting right up to the end, where they started speculating (and tried to pass it off as more than speculation) that this was some sort of proof that God really exists.
