I have been following this story, and it appears that ALL members of the EU just kinda said "that's nice", and went right on with drafting a completely secular constitution for the E.U.

I knew I liked it here for a reason.

I will see if I can find some links to this later.

With regard to the title of this thread, I would say they are in favour in countries where catholicism is a minority religion. When it's the majority one, they are in favour of all kinds of special treatment and throw their weight around politically.
