Default I need a new form of spiritual warfare

Okay, I know when I'm beaten. I'll never convince you guys that my gods exist. Even though they do.:banghead: It's been fun trying to convince you, and I don't plan to give it up entirely. But the goal of getting you guys to be good pagans is just too hard a goal to work on. (Now the jury is still out on converting the Christians. I haven't given that as much effort....) Go ahead. Be atheists. I hope you like living in your secular world.

Anyway, although I am losing hope of converting the atheists, that is only one front of the great spiritual warfare between Yahweh, Jupiter, and the gods who engender atheism. By spiritual warfare I mean bringing about the capture and control of territory for one's own gods. The greater the influence of Jupiter and crew, the more successful Rome is. And initiatory force is absolutely out of the question.

So how can I make sure that Jupiter is winning?

Jupiter is winning? Give me a break.

Thor is winning by at least half a length.

I'm talking about bringing about a state of affairs where Jupiter rules a part of the world as his own. Right now, the Roman gods have considerable influence, but there is no part of the world that only belongs to them, like the Roman Empire used to be. I would see that changed; I would like for the whole of Florida, the southern parts of the Gulf States, and eastern Mexico to constitute Jupiter's realm.

Neither funny nor a valid criticism of my polytheistic philosophy.

Here's an idea: instead of competing for territory on this tiny planet, why don't you claim the virgin territory on one of the other planets in the solar system. Jupiter could be the ruler of... well, Jupiter.

Thumbs up

I believe (with a moderate degree of seriousness) he's already done that. Maybe you could argue that ruling over a huge gas giant is enough, but I don't know...I want Jupiter to have a realm on Earth. And there are other gods who vie for influence on planet Jupiter; it's not like he really has the world to himself.

If he's such a cool god, why he can't he take the planet for himself without the help of a lowley mortal such as yourself?

Maybe Jupiter really is just a heavenly body full of gas.

That's true...I definitely want to do something and probably can in principle though...But maybe I don't need to get obsessed about it.
