If I was single I would date ya all...but alas...my pesky theism gets in the way
dang God

I always thought whoever gets to spend their lives with the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th wonders of the world: crazyfingers, Maverick, phlebas, Philosoft and Pomp are lucky lucky girls...there is just something endearing about their posts..I dunno. I love them.

Wink

I've never actually responded to a personal ad, but I find it amusing (and disheartening, I must say) how you can reduce the number of "personal matches" for yourself by about 99% by simply specifying that you are interested only in atheists.

I'm sure there are a lot of really nice believers out there... (well, okay, so "sure" is a strong word) ... but I'm as likely to date one as I am to date a country music fan.

But then I haven't dated in a few years, so who knows...?

19 and single in the Toronto area (Lancaster, PA in the summertime, for all you Maryland/Bible-Belt-of-Pennsylvania types). A bit shy in new situations. Vertically challenged, but perfectly willing to date of almost any height. Cute (I think).

Any takers?

It may help if you mention which gender you are, and which gender you're interested in.

You're the ethnomusicologist, right ?

Once did an ethnomusicology project with a collegue from Cologne Uni.

I'ld take you on for the ethnomusicology alone, but we're not exactly geographically compatible, like 10,000 Km or so.

um, no offence, but isn't that a bit too much of an invitation ?

hehe... if you're thinking what I thought, that's pretty funny. Although I'm assuming (she?) meant "short".

Hmm, I did mean vertically-challenged in terms of "short," but, of course, I'm open to interpretation. This liberated womanhood thing sure comes in handy every once in a while.

seebs: I'm female and straight, but unfortunately your religion and my vehement lack thereof throw a bit of a wrench in the works whatever your sexuality, as I'm desperately trying to avoid dating men who remind me of my father...

And Gurdur, travel is supposed to be part of my future job description anyway.

I was just pointing out that there's nothing in the post to let people decide if you're their type, unless they're bi. Me, I'm already out of the game.
