Post How the universe may have come from nothing (theory of inflation)

I read an article in the current issue of discover, and it intriuged me. I make a lot of sense to me, and I think that this may be "the answer." .<a href="http://nedwww.ipac.caltech.edu/level5/Guth/Guth_contents.html" target="_blank">Here is a link that explains it well</a>, but it is pretty in depth and complex. The article that was in discover isn't available on the web (as it is in the current issue), but I find that this one explains it well too.

Some poster here, who I will not name, is going to chew you a new asshole for posting this link.

Regardless, it's not a bad link. However, the concept of creation from nothing is misleading. It doesn't mean the universe was created from nothing, but that the energy-mass found in our universe today, was not present at the moment of the big bang.
