Pornography or "holy books"? (Moved from ABR)
It is funny when a debate between religions turns into a free-for-all to expose which "holy book" has the most porn in it.
Here is a video where a Christian and a Muslim go at each other full-throttle. Muslim: The Bible is not from God because there are these shocking verses: Quote:

Can the discourse be kept at a higher level? Full Disclosure - There are many detailed sexual descriptions of Sita in the Ramayana (a Hindu epic) - lest it be thought I am picking on other religions alone! Were all holy books written by sex-starved men who then went on to preach abstinence for everyone else? |

Who preached abstinence? The Ramayana, Koran and Bible are not especially concerned with abstinence.

Ezekiel is, apparently, one of the prophets of Islam and whatever he says has nothing to do with Christianity.

So Mohammed came about a mere 6,000 years after the first man.
The god that created reality says this book is bullshit. This is so easy to see. PS. The god that created reality would know better, but I think he is pretend. |

In Song Of Solomon I believe the writer likens a woman's breast to peaches and thighs to doe skin, or something close. Erotic verse.
Sex as dirty or profane came from the Catholics. |

It was Paul who advocated abstinence. Failng that he said get married, have sex, and take a break once in a while for prayer.
Isla, and Judaism were not about abstinence, they were/are mysogynist i in the conservative versions.. |
