Anyways If Nebby was to destroy Tyre as the critics says. Then why does God say that it will be destroyed and desolate without inhabitant when he brings the deep over it? And if this destruction was to happen at one time. Then how can it be a place to spread nets on...a place where fishermen will be. If their are no inhabitants and it is desolate? This certainly proves that there are different judgements taking place here for different periods and two places. Because if this was to occur it the same time for one spot (total destruction) Then there would be no bare rock to spread nets on.....because it would be deep under the sea. Diferrent judgements, different periods of time....two localities.

How many of those ancient religions killed millions of people because they thought they were on a mission from god? How many of those ancient religions tried to shove their way of life or thinking down the throats of entire societies, even if other people weren't believers of that religion? You have a long way to go before you can draw comparisons between ancient greek myths and christianity. |

It is entirely possible that Ezekiel believed God would cause the island to be swallowed up by the sea after Nebby had finished with it. It is also entirely possible that Ezekiel was speaking poetically/metaphorically there. But, regardless: "two judgements" at different periods of time does NOT imply "two locations". If it DID: well, you must have a pretty confused notion of Middle-Eastern geography if you believe that each of God's "judgements" against Israel (or Egypt etc) actually applied to a different location! |

1. There was never such a thing as 'Medo-Persia' 2. The Book of Daniel only mentions Rome in passing, in 11:30, where it's called 'Kittim'. 3. The various anointed ones in Daniel don't refer to Jesus, and the internal chronology obviously contradicts that assertion. 4. The 'abomination that causes desolation' refers to Antiochus IV putting a statue of Zeus in the temple sanctuary and sacrificing a pig there. 5. Tyre was not destroyed, and the fact that people most likely fish there is definitely not a fulfillment of the prophecy. |

These verses prove without a shadow of a doubt that Tyre is not completely destroyed by no nation but God alone... The mainland city has indeed been scraped and is like a top of a rock....this is for the island this is no error. |
