But you can't, which is kind of the reason behind the Open Scrolls Project, in addition to the English translation which has priority. (By the way, if anyone with some Hebrew, Aramaic, or Greek competence might be able to help, please introduce yourself at the project's board.)

If you are looking for an electronic version of the Hebrew DSS (not just to get it for free), then there are product offerings from Logos (for the PC) and Accordance (for the Mac).

If you want to pay a reasonable price for the texts and translations (for almost all of the non-biblical works), there is The Dead Sea Scrolls Study Edition.

best,
Peter Kirby

Ach! $70? I can't afford that currently, as I just bought like four new books. But what about The Dead Sea Scrolls: A New Translations by Wise & Abegg?

I know the Wise and Eisenman book had the transliterations in it, do you know if this one does as well? I would be content with just working with [transliterations].

& Cook. -- WAC. Sorry, no transliterations: it attempts to be a popular edition. Martinez and Tigchelaar is the way to go. You have nearly all the non-bib texts in transliteration.

 Thank you spin. I've been searching for this for a long time. But since you BT and PK all recommended the book, I'll probably get it as well.
