Creo Blinkers™, God Goggles™ and the special tinfoil helmet are must-haves for this season's fashionable Creationut.

Damn you, Pappy and Mung, you're using totally unfair tactics against Dave -- like logic and reason.

I wonder if he'll whip out the ol' "Ill be basking in heaven while I watch you writhing in HELL!" again today. Yep, Davey, it works with SOME of the kiddies you try to brainwash, so it MUST work against adults, too, eh? *points and laughs*

Well If Davey's gonna try freaking us with his gloating about hell I reckon we should point out that Allah is gonna be mighty pissed with him.
Shit Dave, have you read the Qur'an? Hell's even worse than you think it is.
Better say your shahada quick smart, boyo. Never know when yer time's up.

I agree. Clearly nothing short of an omnipotent god could conceal a 1-2 mile thick global sedimentary layer. The plain fact that the flood sediment is utterly imperceptible is overwhelming evidence of a deceitful god.

As for Flood deposits in Egypt, here you go ...

http://www.digitalegypt.ucl.ac.uk/geo/geology.html

Limestone and sandstone.

Flood deposits.

Is that what you were looking for?
Say WHAT?

:rolling:

How does limestone form again, davey?

Also:

Now that you are familliar with the terms, oh mighty lecturer, start "debunking the nonsense". IF you can. Or kindly refrain from arrogant remarks like the ones above, that only make you look sillier, and try to learn a thing or two. About ANYTHING.

<edit> Whoops, seems deadman and OA and Johnny Sceptic caught your blooper already. Oh well.

Hmmm, Dave seems to have found a new drum to bang at http://www.iidb.org/vbb/showthread.php?t=216026 where he is busy 'proving' that Richard Leakey reconstructed an early hominid skull inaccurately based on the knowledge existing at the time of reconstruction. This in some way reveals Dr Leakey's 'bias' and therefore proves the YEC model (Dave doesn't actually say that it proves the YEC model in so many words, but I think that is the general direction he is headed with this). He must still be looking for that evidence of the 1-2 mile Flud sediment and got distracted......:devil1:

So instead of heading off to the thread that I specifically provided for him to make his case for the "worldwide flood deposit" complete with a handy list of geological features to start him off, he's launched a thread in which he's spinning the "scientists make shit up" libel?

Doesn't surprise me, sadly.

So that limestone bed overlaying the sandstone in Nubia got eroded...how? In 4500 years? It's hard enough to be used for monuments and it's in the desert.

And why don't those layers cover all of egypt entirely if it was laid down by a global flood? And how did Limestone containing sea floor fossils such as those found in Egytian stone...get deposited in a global flood with no other modern animals? Foolish, foolish creationists.
Probably high energy, catastrophic water flow. Have you learned nothing from all my discussions of the Palouse Canyon and the English Channel?

I have learned that you know shit about geology, Dave, that is what I learned -- and it's evidenced in your last post.

throwing out terms as if you KNOW what they mean is laughable...you're spouting jargon like a total amateur...high-energy water flows like the palouse leave defined, precise kinds of traces, Mr. Geology. Show me those braided channels in Nubia, please.

Dave, it's a simple question:

How does limestone form?

Can you explain in your own words so we can tell if you understand?
