Default Federal judge finds Pledge in public schools unconstitutional

ABCNews.com has a breaking news banner that says "Federal Judge finds it unconstitutional to recite pledge of allegiance in public schools". No details up yet.

This should be interesting.

Edit to add: cnn.com has the same thing. Get out the popcorn!

FOX News still has it. So did the Chicago Sun Times.

This should add some spice to the Roberts nomination hearings.

It is a California judge who made the ruling, saying that he is bound the precedent of the 9th Circuit Court. It should make it to the Supreme Court fairly quickly, I would think.

Indeed. I hope we see some CSS questioning in the hearings, since this is no doubt going to get to SCOTUS.
