The Jesus as presented by religion did not exist because 'Jesus is the way' but he did exist and still does exist as 'the way' and here is called the only way to heaven.

Christ remained (he moved to Rome actually) but Jesus left and he is the one that comes again to show us the way if and when we are called and chosen.

I would even argue that Christ = 'meno' and Jesus is the 'pauze' needed to become Christ as in 'I remain.' So obviously the pauze must end or you'll be pauzing for life between heaven and earth.

So the universal second coming of Christ is BS if all we need is for Jesus to show us the way to heaven as Christ[ian] and therefore anybody who calls him/herself a Christian better be in heaven or he/she is proclaiming a condemnation upon him/herself.
