Uncanny accuracy. We can see ALL THESE THINGS apply to today's world but NONE of it applied to Jesus' time.

Even if that be true, "forgery" is plainly the wrong word. Improving texts was a natural and logical thing for a religionist to do. If the text is wrong, in that it doesn't reflect the religion as you understand it, it is only obvious that you fix it. Forgery even conveys the wrong intent. There would be no desire to deceive anyone, but to give them the true religion. It's all in the eye of the religionist.
