Default "THE FABLE OF CHRIST" review?

Has anyone here read or reviewed Luigi Cascioli's (ex priest turned atheist) "The Fable Of Christ" yet? It looks interesting but is only available directly from his website. Thinking of ordering but thought I'd see if anyone's beaten me to it. Thanks.

No, I haven't read the book, I only know that there was a court case a few years ago between Cascioli and a parish priest Erico Righi. Details can be found here:

http://www.luigicascioli.it/processo_eng.php

The case is still running, as you can see in this article:

So, who knows - is this going to change world history in reverse?

Mr Cascioli maintains that early Christian writers confused Jesus with John of Gamala, an anti-Roman Jewish insurgent in first-century Palestine.

Quote from Cascioli :

That the figure of Jesus has been fully constructed over a certain John of Gamala, son of Judas from Gamala, known as the Galilean, is irrefutably known by such a great number of proofs as to remove whatever doubts about the falsifications carried out by the compilers of the Gospels. It would suffice that concerning the transformation of the appellation Nazireo, as was usually called John of Gamala as inhabitant of Nazareth, to show in the most absolute manner the impersonation stated.

Seems nothing else than Daniel Massé theory in new clothes. Does he acknowledge the heritage?

Thanks folks. I think when I searched the archives I had copied and pasted the title in all caps and that's why nothing came up. Not sure, anyway...
Judging from the discussions other threads provided by Toto a lot of people have heard about this but no one has actually read his book. Johann, you mentioned Daniel Massé. I don't see any published books by him and the online materials seem to be all in french, do you have any english references you could share? Thanks.
