Does Jesus ever unequivocably say he is God?
I guess the title says it all - I'm re-reading the gospels and trying to find any place where Jesus flat out says he is:
1) God. Meaning creator of the universe, etc. 2) He and he alone can forgive sins on earth. As a follow-up, are there any other mythical heroes that claim the same or similar qualities of godhood and forgiveness. Thanks Pat |

Before Abraham was I am? You cannot reach the Father except through me? Krishna says he is Brahman, and to take refuge in him as well.
