Just got it today, the JPS version, as a gift! Still waiting on Septuagint.

Quick notes: I can't read vowels, so if anyone has a question, they'll always be just the words. I do know a few words in Hebrew, but haven't really the time to really out-and-out learn it, which is why its my second major...

It doesn't give a literal translation, like the one I was planning on buying, and it gives some funky translation, like a wind from God, or "When God began to create..." But for owning the MT, <southern> "ah lahk, ah lahk." </southern>
