Question Did Jesus never exist?

This Web Site claims that Jesus is pure fiction. What do you think?

There was no Jesus who existed before Abraham and helped the Israelites in the Exodus.

That is pure fiction.

What is the evidence to support your assertion?

There is no evidence of any Abraham or any Israelites in an Exodus for this alleged Jesus to have been there.

So a lack of evidence for an Abraham equals evidence for no Abraham?

What if the Israelites in an Exodus is an exaggerated account of what happened to real people?

What if the tales of Arthur and his knights are an exaggerated account of what happened to real people?

1. You failed to answer my first question about Abraham.
2. Evaluate each story on its merits/demerits.

The story of Abraham says he had a wife in his eighties, and he was really worried that the pharoah would find her so overwhelmingly attractive, that Abraham told her to say that she was his sister , not his wife.

And you think this story has *merits*?

I think that is does not logically follow that a lack of evidence for an Abraham equates with evidence that he did not exist. Why wouldn't that be an example of a fallacious argument from silence?
