Default 1st Temple seal found in Jerusalem [MERGED 2x] with Pagan symbol, faith based archeol

Archaeologist believe they have found a seal from First Temple.

Oddly enough, the seal displays what could be interpreted as a pagan symbol.
Quote:
A crescent moon, the symbol of the chief Babylonian god Sin, appears on the top of the altar.
An alternate explanation is that the crescent moon was important to the temple priests for calendar purposes.

Interesting stuff.

What do you think it coroborates?

That there was a first temple, that there was a Babilonian exile and that there was a return to Jerusalem, are well accepted historical facts.

So, because a seal - one apparently showing people praying to the Babylonian god Sin - is found with a name that happens to appear in the bible, this is carbonation - corruscation - uh, corroboration of . . . . well, what, exactly?

I found a civil war dog tag with the name of Lee on it. It has to be general Robert E Lee's dog tag because it was found at the Gettysburg battlefield. Yup your right reniaa nothing but caroboration for the bible.

Fundamental dictionary:
caroboration Verb
To immediately jump to unsupported conclusions in order to uphold ones delusion.
