Hey,

I was reading the site, and the book, the Christ Conspiracy, by Arachya S., and they say that Horus and Krishna had Jesus like qualities before Jesus did, such as being crucified and rising on the third day, and being the sin bearer. While I'm willing to believe that as a possibility, nearly all the sources cited for that information are other anti-christian sites or anti-christian books. Does anyone have independent confirmation from hindu books or sites, or egyptian mythology books or sites that confirm that they had the Jesus qualities before Jesus? Thanks.

edited to add: The Krishna and Horus connections are both the product of bad scholarship. The Krishna connection may be rooted in the attempts by Catholic missionaries to find parallels in the Hindu religion, to make it easier to convert Indians.
