the oxymoron pledge
Offa,
The oxymoron pledge. One nation under "GOD". God is Jewish. Jesus would have said, "One nation under the Father". The Muslim deity is also GOD. With Liberty and Justice for "All". "All*" is divisive. "All" represents a Jewish political party. If you read the bible you will find "All Pharisees" an extended number of times, but you will never find "All Sadducees" a single time. You will never find "Many Pharisees". "All" and "Many" are opposing parties. Now, if you are truly a devout believer (in God, for instance) and somebody asked you, "Do you believe in God?", Your only legitimate response would be a guttural laugh. If you answer that question to a mortal then you are showing doubt. "Yes" incriminates you. On the same token, having a coin in your pocket that says, "In God We Trust" denotes you into being a non-believer. Simply, if you trust in God then do not put the motto on your filthy lucre! Of course, if you believe in the "Father" then you are exonerated, i.e., we do not have coins that say "We Trust in the Father". *All has a humorous side note ... All the king's men. The land of Galilee is actually between nowadays Jerusalem and the Dead Sea. King Herod the Great owned this land. "All" and "King Herod" are idioms. |
