Jeremiah a false Prophet? Are you kidding me?
Many Critics are accusing Jeremy of being a false prophet because they say his prophecies concerning Babylon failed. Did they now?...No. Babylon they say was to be completely destroyed by Nebby and desolated from then on. But here in ch.25 it states:
"And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations. And I will bring upon that land all My words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah have prophesied against all the nations. FOR MANY NATIONS AND GREAT KINGS SHALL SERVE THEMSELVES OF THEM ALSO......" We all know that Saddam tried to rebuild the city of Babylon...he failed. Babylon would be ruled by many nations and great kings....how is this supposed to occur if it is desolated by Nebby? A careful reading of Jeremiah's prophecies against Babylon shows that it is none other than "Mystery Babylon of Revelation"......end time Jerusalem of the Gentiles. |

of course you are right sugerhitman, it is all true and sadly for us mere mortals who are not so grand to have a direct line to god we are evidently doomed.
