Default Was God worthy of Jesus?

In Matthew, Jesus says:

Quote:
37“Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;
But then the reason for the crucifixion is that God loved the world so much he sacrificed his own son. Therefore he loves his sons and daughters (us) more than Jesus, right?

I wouldn't blame Jesus if he kicked the old guy right in the shin when he got to Heaven. What a nasty thing to do.

Well, the Trinitarians solved this by equating Jesus with God. That way God commits suicide to prevent himself from sending everyone to hell...

:huh:
