A half-sized replica of the biblical Noah's Ark has been built by a Dutch man, complete with model animals. --->> The ark opened its doors on Saturday, after almost two years' construction, most of it by Mr Huiber himself. --->> He began building in May 2005, after he dreamed of the Netherlands being flooded. "In February 1992, I had a dream that Holland will become flooded. The next day, I found a book about Noah's Ark in the local bookshop, and since then, my dream has been to build the ark," he said. --->> Huiber's ark is waiting for a flood to test it's sea worthiness.

Isn't there supposed to be a life-size Ark at the Creation Museum?

 | Quote: Bear in mind that we're presently incapable of building an ark that can stay afloat on a perfectly calm body of water. Even if Noah could somehow outdo us in that regard, he still had to weather a megastorm of physically impossible proportions. Edit: We can, however, build battle icebergs. And that's awesome. | |

I'd be more impressed if someone could merely show where all the water came from to flood the earth up to the top of Mount Everest.

True, nobody has bothered to try to build a full-scale imitation of the Great Pyramid, but many people have performed experiments in constructing stone monuments using premodern technologies, so constructing such an imitation does seem to be feasible.
