People who call themselves atheists focus on attacking the Bible, and rarely, if ever, mention Eastern religions. Because they compartmentalise. They are true believers, as far as anyone knows.
That is unwarranted, IMO. Most of the atheists you are dealing with know very little about eastern beliefs and a whole bunch about western ones.
So why do Westerners know about the Bible, but not Shiva and his sin-drinking?
