I suppose all this is old hat to you folks, but it's new to me. I'll just give it to you both barrels.

"Prove the Big Bang, and you prove Jesus Christ".

Jesus Christ, can you believe that from a person with legitimate scientific degrees?

Hugh Ross is an Old Earth Creationist. He aims to heal the cultural rift between modern science and religion, so he does battle with young earth creationists, who rebuke him and expose him.

II carries a review of one of his books here and has a page of counterarguments here.

There's no Biblical Criticism here, so I think this thread will find its way to S&S.
