My biology professor today stated as a fact that "researchers" have found compelling evidence of Noah's ark and they are sending a team to go confirm their findings. Then my prof ranted about how it was silly not to believe in the bible because of all the evidence supporting it . Hmmm such a shame i go to a private university or I else I could do something about such talk :banghead: .

If you look closely you can see the similarity between the satellite image and the more realistic image below:
I'm convinced, the ark is real. I can almost smell the sea air... |

You said private. Not religious by any chance? Just curious. PS Biology? Some expert then, must be a creationist at heart. |

Do you not see it is a sign from god? Do you think those blue arrows and red circle showed up on the snow, now, for no good reason. Now that is the result of some fancy random coincidences. [/fox fundy mode] Simian |

Yes my university is Catholic and I don't think my prof is a creationist, just the kind of person that picks and chooses whatever they want from the bible and just disregards the rest. So she hears about this ark thing and doesn't do any further research because she has what she needs and then she goes spouting it off to the class. The sad part was when I heard a girl next to me say "oh my gosh really?" She said this in all seriousness. She won't look into it anymore either, but I bet she will spout it off to someone else just like my prof. A vicious cycle....

I can picture the faces of the Turkish policemen in the Mount Ararat village when they spot the expedition of "scientists"...
"Oh, no! Not those dammed Christian lunatics again...!" Although I would be surprised if there is not a flourishing market of "authentic Noah's Ark remains" for dumb born-again tourists around the place already... |

I seem to remember seeing something on the History channel or Discovery channel about this a while back, Had that same image(minus the handy arrows). I guess it looks like it could be something man made, but I doubt it. If i remember correctly, they went looking for it on the show and never found it, let alone excavating it
