Default See how illogical

Genesis 1:
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. [IN TOTAL DARKNESS].
And the earth was without form, and void;
and darkness was upon the face of the deep. [DARKNESS WAS EVERYWHERE]
And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. [IN THE DARK]
And God [LIVING IN TOTAL DARKNESS] said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And God saw the light, that it was good. [END OF DARKNESS].
Therefore: verse one is a contradiction in respect to verse three!
The Creator[s] (Elohim) could not create the heavens WITHOUT light.

Default The Switch

The Bible should start thus:
“In the beginning Light was switched on and the process of creation started” … and move on from there.
But then we need some “Invisible Hand” to move the switch up!
And who would “install” the switch in the first place [in total darkness]?!…
And who would point out the direction to the Switch [in complete darkness]?!…

We also need a manufacturer for the switch, someone to train the installation engineer, a competent authority to assess the training of the engineer, accreditation for the competent authority...

All in the dark.

This might be more appropriate in BC and H.

Light is the only concern you have there?

What about that he created The Earth and the heavens all in one go? I wonder if anyone's gone through that book and pointed out scientifically all the possible and impossible stuff. Would be a fun exercise.

Either the Bibles are self-refuting, fact-wise, beginning on page one...

Or, they are works of fiction.

There are no other options.

I suppose it depends on how you define fiction.
