Exodus 31:18
In GRD in answering an op about the Bible [this post] I said that God wrote the Bible with his finger.
I was joking of course, but am insterested what people believe was written on those tablets. What does it mean it was God's testimony? |

FWIW, "the finger of God" inscribing the Law has become an esoteric theme, I believe. The finger as a sign of initiated or enlightened or something, touching the divine.
IRS? The Finger of God: Ex 8:19, Ex 31:18, Deut 9:10 Luke 11:20 and in Matthew 12:28 its the "Spirit of God". |

Well thanks, Cesc . I'm still trying to find out what might have actually been written on the stones referred to as God's testimony.
Cool pics, btw. |

I think the closest we're going to come to an actual law-tablet of Moses is probably the Code of Hammurabi. Its impossible to know if its inscribed by God until someone gets His fingerprint. Which is probably somewhere in the secret archives of the Vatican.
