Default A friendly moderator reminder

I'm just reminding people that express and implied insults directed towards other posters are in violation of the GRD Forum Rules and Guidelines.

Quote:
(1) Personal commentary, insults and flames are not acceptable. Posts that consist largely or entirely of such comments will be deleted. Otherwise substantive posts that contain comments of a personal nature or flames will be edited to remove the inappropriate material while retaining the substance of the post.

Calling a fellow poster irrational, delusional, deceitful, or a similar accusation, is not acceptable even if you believe that your fellow poster really is deluded. This kind of accusation never furthers the debate. The only acceptable response in GRD to what appear to be irrational statements from a fellow poster is to present evidence or argument to contradict what your fellow poster has said.

if i offended anyone with my edited and deleted posts, well i didn't mean to, it's just that i got a little frustrated when i wasn't getting any logical answers based on the evidence that i quoted in the first place.

And here you have it: the source of all evil.

Planes into buildings, gas chambers, auto-de-faes, you name it: nothing is verbotten to the followers of God, for nothing is verbotten to God. After all the screeching the Christians do about how we atheists lack morals, it turns out that God is the ultimate get-out-of-morality-free card.

This belief - that the law of morality can be transcended - is the greatest "engine of grief" one can possibly imagine. Even the new-age liberals only argue that morality is relative: even they can't bring themselves to argue that morality is irrelevant.

What is the law of morality?

Who wrote it?

Who said God doesn't kill? I just posit it is not a crime to kill the guilty...He said we would die in Gen. 3...just not when or where...He is sovereign.

Is not!
Is so!
blah...
blah...

Bah!

Have we gone and done it? Answering our own arguments? Or just generally disgusted with the state of things?
