Question for Farrell Till
Has Mr Till ever written a article on the absurdity of christian trinity? How would Till deal with this latest defense of the trinity ?
imagine there is only one body of H2O, and it exists in a bowl. The bowl of water in toto represents God. There is only one divine essence, like there is only one bowl of water. However, there is an ice cube in the water, and the water is greater than the ice cube, but nonetheless, the ice cube is of the same substance as the water. The ice cube by itself is not the H2O in toto, nor is the water which is separate from the icecube. There is only one water, but there are different manifestations within that one water. |

I'd drink it.
How is the water "greater than" the ice cube? In any case, IMO that is a rather poor analogy for the concept of the Trinity that might help some to understand the concept, but is not really a "defense" of the trinity. |

Does this mean that God only exists at 0.01 deg C and 0.006 atmospheres?

Well, we know that the Trinity is not mentioned in the Bible, so this is not Biblical Criticism. And I don't think that the original trinity was justified based on modern understanding of H2O.
I'll try bumping this to GRD. I suggest that if you want Farrell Till's input, that you email or PM him. |
