the god concept only mirrors the cultures that used him.
its why god has been in a state of evolution for over a thousand years. when the book stopped, the god concept slowed down as well. hell evolved even longer from a mythical concept of the afterlife. |

I'm surprised no one has come up with John 3:16. "For God so loved the world..."--a pretty "omni" sentiment there.

Anyways, I came across this verse: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 New International Version (NIV) 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. What's more is that the same word translated "love" is agape; the same to describe God in 1 John "God is agape" and "Agape" is patient, kind, doesn't envy, etc. |

None. Christians don't get all their dogmas straight from the Bible. Even those who claim to be sola scriptura have to do a lot of reading between the lines. God's omnibenevolence is a product more of pure theology than of scriptural exegesis.
