Default Proof of SIN?

If one does not believe the bible, then what other proof is there of Sin?

Like, obviously morals are good and all, but the idea of SINS are only biblical right?

I think this question would be better asked in MF&P.

I'm not sure if I understand the question, but I think you're asking if non-Christians believe in the idea of "sin." Correct me if I'm mistaken.

"Sin" is a Christian concept that is generally only held by the religious. Most nonbelievers think morality arises from societal needs and enlightened self-interest, not some kind of mandate from a higher power. (For example, killing people is wrong because a society where people can kill freely is a society in which I could get killed, which would be bad for me.)

I hope I answered your question (and welcome to the boards btw).

Yes, we all have a System Identification Number. We don't know it yet, but they are always watching us. (yeah, I couldn't resist the capitalised reference. Molly rocks. Bite me)

On a serious note, sin is a concept ingrained in all the Abrahamic faiths, as well as some non-Abrahamic faiths. Karma is, to me, a comparable "divine universal force", cept it also has a non-value-judgement form (karma is neither good nor bad, because it is both. It's just a force, we label it either, etc etc). I believe Zorastrianism has similar concepts as well.

Just because you don't believe in Sin doesen't mean you don't believe that some actions are wrong.
