'But try this little thought experiment: Forget everything you know about the biographical narrative in the gospels (mischievous grin and then read Paul without interpolating any gospel material into it. What you'll find is that the only narrative elements which the Pauline letters and the gospels have in common are the death, the burial, and the resurrection of a guy named Jesus. But it's really only these three details where the overlapping stops. There is no mention of anything biographical prior to these. No quotations from his parables or teachings—not even when they would back up his point! ' |

Yeah, Ben did a pretty sloppy job with this. Almost as if he didn't even read the book.
