Default Genesis 1 v 1, 2 and 3

Quote:
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said let there be light.
(KJV)

Being a bear of little brain, this reads like a very sophisticated Greek description of the four elements, which would place it about the time of Plato, Socrates, possibly slightly earlier.

It is also not obviously a description of the creation of everything - God, waters, spirit of God (air?) seem to be pre existing.

Light - (fire) and earth - (who says this means the planet - why not the element?) are created.

Heaven - may just be an upgrade on Olympus - did anyone see heaven as an element?
