Earn a bit of money translating a bit of Greek for me
I have four and a bit small pages of Greek text which I would like translated into English. Unfortunately I am drowning in work, and my Greek is very slow and very rubbish. So I'm willing to pay someone to do it for me.
Anyone interested? It's worth $50 to me for a first translation of it. Send me a private message if you are. I will place the resulting translation will be public domain, of course; it is a condition of the job that any intellectual property created goes to me so I make it PD. A PDF of the article is here. The text starts at the bottom of p.11 of the PDF (=107). I'm going to translate the French myself. The text is supposedly by Athanasius (but isn't) giving prophecies by the Seven Sages on the coming of Christ. Almost every element of this is bogus, but it relates to the investigation into Arabic collections of prophecies of the same kind which I'm doing for the Mithras thread. It's a medieval bit of legend, in reality. The Greek looks very easy to my eyes. All the best, Roger Pearse |
