heh. I was searching for Essene threads and found you trying to field a sparring partner for the Essene/Qumran theory last year too. Nobody would take you on.

The Essenes, while quite dedicated to the study of ancient texts (Josephus Wars II Ch 8). They were relatively poor communal creatures. Not what one could bank on for housing a galaxy of texts.
