Did gawd write the bi-bull in English? Or was it written in Aramaic, Greek, etc. Maybe gawd forsaw that a faithless generation would need an extra sign so he put a special code just for English readers. What a bunch of bullshit man. And to think that there are shows on tv about this crap. Humans (including myself but much less I might add) are really gullible (sp?).

The code only ‘works’ on the Pentateuch/ Torah, the first five books attributed to Moses and the code program is done in Hebrew not English. I saw both shows Sat. night back to back and was surprised by the credentials of the people who believe this stuff, not exactly morons by any account, but men with advanced degrees and education. It is most important to point out though that the people who did not buy it were the ones with Phd’s in statistics. The believers were mostly other sorts of mathematicians or computer geeks.
What sort of impressed me was the correct dates along with the some of the hits e.g. Bush Gore 2000
LA earthquake 1995 or whatever. But I guess that’s part of the statistical quirk. Let’s wait till 2012 and see if we get hit by a comet!

Does it say anything about World War II or I in the 'Torah code'? If it was authentic I'd think these would be possbily the two most important and tragic things to have ever happened (to our knowledge) and wouldn't be left out, especially WWII.

I saw the show, and someone had actually done just that. I don't remember the exact words or phrases, but it had the phrase "Bible Code" in it, and words like fake, lies, etc.

yes, plenty. They listed a bunch: Hitler, the countries involved, Japan atomic blast, they even have Thomas Edison and his light bulb, Einstein, Shakespear & his plays, a bunch of dead Rabbis & the year they died, the space shuttle blowing up. 9/11, twin towers fall, the Iraq war etc.
also on a search of "Bible Code" 'done by computer' came up
all dates were in Hebrew calender dates.

I have heard some minor talk about code cracking in the bible. I think whether or not someone can sit down and decode the bible to predict the future has yet to be demonstrated. But even if the bible can be decoded and accurate predictions show up regarding the future, seems like a step forward and a step back for theists. Afterall, a fair share of theists tend to claim they possess free-will when their God is an omniscient. So, if this ancient document says anything, it would say no free-will, and could end up contradicting theistic claims.

I am intelligent enough to decipher the Bible on my own and i developed a method that cannot be so easiely debunked like the biblecode. The new method is called "Torah Cosmos" and that's only a little window to what i have found. It's not prophpecy, but knowledge of astronomy and hermetic sciences.
