Impressed? I'm not convinced.
When the ultimate conclusion is: "It then follows that it is also Christ who causes His church to accept the canon and to recognize it by means of the witness of the Holy Spirit." Spirit inspired the author; Spirit supplied the alleged name of the author; Spirit inspired the selector; ad nauseum |

Gregor,
I am impressed, because I find that most apologists (IRT legitimate publishing sources), are at best guided by self imposed blinders, at worst deceivers. Again, all I had time for was a quick perusal. Pretty quote, but meaningless. Which canon, by the way do you insist on as THE TRUTH? The Roman Catholic one, the Protestant, or maybe the Ethiopian. Ever read 1,2 Clement? Can I take the Syriac Bible and consign Revelations to the fiction isle? DK |
