Strange coincidence:
Yahweh = 26 Shamayim = 390 U'Eretz = 297 = 613 = the commandments in the Pentateuch. This can't escaped the notice of Irenaeus's opponents. This must have been very important to them. Perhaps it finally explains why Jesus was the fulfillment of the Law? |
