God picks who he wants in Heaven
A Christian friend told me today that she believes God picks who he does and doesnt want in Heaven.
She then pointed me at Romans 9. Good calls who he likes to Jesus and everyone else it left behind. I cant get over this. It was a genuine shock moment. Are we not told that Jesus is necessary because God is fair and just. God cant just forget sin so he sent Jesus as a leveller to remove that sin. Everyone has a second chance all the need to do is accept Jesus. Doesnt this go in direct contrast with Romans 9? I seriously cant get over the fact that Christians believe this. |

Sounds like Calvinism to me. They've believed it for centuries.

Some do, some don't. Some believe that God is so good that nobody will be condemned to hell.
Some believe Hell exists and is eternal, some believe that hell is death, and some believe that hell is simply permanent separation from God. Don't judge all Christians by what one person said to you. You can use selected scripture as proof of pretty much anything you want. That is why there are around 30,000 different versions of Christianity on the planet, with varying degrees of different interpretation of heavan and hell. Norm |
