Default Toughest Contradiction in the Bible for Christians

For another thread I'm posting in I would like to know what you think the toughest contradiction in the Bible is for Christians to explain, regardless of interpretation or any of the other usual excuses.

Please, respond quickly

Well the gospel accounts of the death, ressurection, and post-ressurection appearences are a good start. I've also found that Jesus last word's in Luke 23:44 and those same last words in John 19:30 seem to be irreconcilable. Another good choice is Jesus' failed second coming prophecy, but that one involves a bit more detail.

Jesus forgetting that he himself was God, and thinking that he had forsaken himself on the cross.

Toughest contradiction:

Matthew says an angel told Mary Magdalene that Jesus had risen.

John says Mary thought the body was stolen and has JESUS HIMSELF tell her he's risen.

2nd toughest:

Luke says all eleven remaining apostles were present when the risen Jesus first appeared to them.

John says Thomas was absent.

The Olivet promise of a return during the lifetime of the 12 - especially compared with 2 Peter (written in 150 CE) which laments that Jesus hasn't returned as promised.

No contradiction - both events happened. Matthew specifically tells us that Judas died by hanging. Acts never says he died by falling on the rocks, merely that his body fell.

The money was used to buy the field where Judas died, which is one reason it is known as the Field of Blood - it was bought with "blood money".

Jesus never promised to return in the Apostles life time. Its specifically stated that no one knows when Jesus will return except God the Father. So Jesus couldn't have promised them any return time.
