Yep, back in my Christian days, we used to argue over whether the tenth was based on your gross income or your net. Round and round we would go, until someone piped up, "For me, it's not what percentage you give to God, but what percentage you hold back."

Hey.
And with the Crystal Cathedral in bankruptcy the Schullers could sell all they have and pay off debts to those who are owed money.
They could sell even their fancy robes and cars and holiday homes even their own home.
They could live in tents outside their church and then they would be practicing what they preached.
They would have to be careful not to hold back and deceive or they might be struck dead like the 2 dudes in the NT.
Then God would be able to mightily bless them as they themselves have preached.
I won't hold my breath :grin:
