Diogenes the Cynic

There is no evidence that any apostles were martyred for being Christians. There is also no real evidence that any of the apostles ever claimed to have witnessed a physicaly resurrected Jesus. We have no idea what the apostles believed (or even if they existed at all). They left us no testimony that we're aware of.
