Default Where was Jesus buried?

What, if any historical evidence is there that Jesus was buried in Joseph of Arimathaea's tomb? I know that this issue has been discussed at this forum before, but I think that it is good to revisit the issue from time to time.

In Palestine, in say 40 A.D., if it was not widely known where Jesus was buried, obviously, there could not have been any disputes regarding a missing body since in order to claim where a body is not, you have to know where it was in the first place.

Apart from the N.T. there is no evidence that he was buried at all, which would have been a departure from standard Roman practice.

Apart from the NT there is no evidence he existed, either. And I, for one and speaking only for myself, reject the NT as anything other than a pile of lies put forward by 'believers.' Much as every other religion invented by the fertile minds of men.

I agree ... BUT ... when in history was the collage of lies collated and by whom and where and for what purpose? Unless the alternative "history" is sketched, fathomed, perceived, ascertained and corroborated, the lies will persist through further centuries of "human belief systems".

So where was the fictive Jesus buried?
According to the earliest accounts Helena
seems to have grokked the "believers' location".

I rather imagine that it was more of a process than an event. Jesus morphed into whatever the powers that were at the time wanted him to be. Kind of like Batman.
